Origins

Science Education Center was established under Department of Education’s emphasis on Nature Science Education development at Taitung Teacher’s college era.

In 2003, Taitung Teacher’s college transformed into National Taitung University, Science Education Center became a secondary center under Teachers’ college.

1.       Developing Science Education curriculum and framework of Junior High & Elementary Schools of      Taitung County.

2.      Constructing the Science Education data base.

3.      Promoting Science Education through Hand-on Experiments, enhancing scientific anesthetics.

4.      Receiving and handling related SEC commissions.
